Arcade Empire (as usual)

They are such a fun band to watch. They really enjoy being on stage and I really enjoyed their vibe. 

I rented a 35mm f1.4 for the weekend and gave it a try. I also used a 5D mark iii (borrowed) and it really blew me away (first time i used it for a band). The lighting kept breaking during the gig and the majority of the show was lit by ambient light from the bar and the upstairs area. I never used flash and got totally usable shots that i otherwise wouldn’t have gotten. I freelensed this shot at ISO 8000
